  1. All I can say is that I am probably going to start drinking tap water after watching Tapped! I can't believe that water bottles from manufacturer contains gasoline oil in them!? And that every 750 water bottle made has enough oil in them to fill up 100,000 cars! Unbelieveable! The beach scene was the hardest thing to watch. Half the sand on the beach was plastic debris. Definitly going to switch to a BPA free reuseable water bottle!

  2. Watching Tapped was interesting. Although I was never a fan of drinking bottled water. I read a book a few years back telling of how tap water was better for you. I was never aware of how bad bottled water actually was though. The ocean sweeping scene where they examined how much plastic was actually in the Pacific Ocean was crazy. But it was the amount of plastic they were gathering rather than plankton that the fish were consuming that was the "shock factor" moment for me. Makes me glad my house recycles.

  3. Watching Tapped was definitely an experience. The fact that companies like Nestle are allowed to do what they please with little regulation is outrageous. The amount of red tape preventing the needed legislation to stop these companies is ridiculous as well. However, while the movie itself was greatly informative, it was also a tad repetitive for its length. But it got its point across; and I certainly won't be drinking or buying bottled water any time soon.

  4. I walked away feeling overwhelmed by the information given to me in the film Tapped. It was extremely informative and provided a bigger picture to how bottled water affects everyone on this planet. From the built up trash that finds itself in our oceans affecting sea life to the specific compounds found in plastics that causes cancer and unhealthy developments in a fetus. I was also saddened by the people who live near the industrial plant which creates the PET bottles. I was unaware that many of the residents that live nearby suffer from severe health condition's due to the waste distributed in the air by the industrial plant. Overall Tapped has made me reconsider many aspects of my life when it comes to water. I will have to make some adjustments in my life. I guess there is truth to what my mother has always told me, "tap water is the best water", it's also free!

  5. I always knew that there was an issue with plastic bottles, but I never really knew how badly they effected everything around them. I had converted to tap water a long time ago because I knew it would save me money, I didn't know that it was helping with my health as well. Even though this film mainly focused on bottled water, the viewer could still derive that drinking soda from a plastic bottle is just as bad for you. This film has been such an eye opener and I intend on spreading the word.

  6. The movie tapped was a huge eye opener for me! It was a disturbing video to watch how polluted earth is getting mainly because of humans.I will be more careful when I go to purchase items in a gas station or a grocery store now.

  7. Watching the movie Waste Land was intense. I couldn't believe the living conditions of the people who picked through the garbage to sort out the stuff that needs to be recycled. They live in such filth, but have wonderful personalities and dreams. When artist Vik Muniz created these wonderful photographs of the pickers, using only the recycled stuff they search for on a daily basis, I was touched. My favorite was of the young lady and her two children, it was quite beautiful.

  8. I thought that the movie Bag It was great! Not only was this another informative movie for me but it was also uplifting because it showed you ways to avoid polluting the earth. One of the ways this movie discussed is to just stop buying things that we do not need. The more we buy plastic the more it just adds up.I also thought it was interesting that some companies put the recycling sign on their bottles but yet they are not recyclable, I thought this was very sad and misleading.

  9. the bag it movie was funny and educational. I am pretty sure many different areas would invest in this project and prosper from it. The guy was so awkward, but it made me more aware of the items that really affect us. The baby concerns were a lot of my classmates' favorite part of the movie, because many are about to become parents or want children. They also realized that it effects them.
